Sian is one of our black masked beauties from the Ben x Shelby litter.

She finished 2008 as the No. 2 Australian Bred Dogue de Bordeaux in Australia (No. 3 Nationally).

Sian is a powerfully built young lady with good bone, excellent topline and superb front and rear angulation. Like her sister Aust. Ch. Bordogue Joelle, she has excellent reach, drive and extension when moving.

She has a lovely trapezoid shaped head, hazel eyes which complement her black mask, a good stop and nice mobile wrinkle.

She spent much of the latter part of 2007 out of the show ring after fracturing a bone in her foot. However, the months of crate rest and hydrotherapy have paid off with her successful return to the ring.

Sian gained her Australian Champion title in only 9 Challenges (and not a single 6 point Challenge amongst them). One Challenge being a 20 point Best of Breed, one of the highest point awarded BOB's outside a Royal show.

At only 20 months old, Sian was awarded Reserve Challenge Bitch at the Royal Queensland Show under Mr K. Nakano (Japan). She followed this up by being awarded Challenge Bitch at the Toowoomb Royal under Mr R.B. Jenkins (Sth Africa).

Sian made breed history when she became the first Australian Bred bitch (and only the 2nd bitch in Australia) to be awarded Best Exhibit in Group at any all breeds level, by Mrs A.C. Holman at the Burnett Kennel Club Open Show.

Sian is an "in to everything" girl who likes to know what is going on. It's nothing to find her standing on the patio table looking in the kitchen window. She happily takes towels off the towel rails and rips them up. If you leave a cupboard open, she is in to it helping herself to whatever she can find.

Sian is a very happy girl and a real pleasure to have around.

Oh, and her name is not pronounced "See-Ann", its pronounced "Sharn", it's Welsh.
