We cannot thank Kris and Tony of Camelot Bordeaux in the USA enough for allowing
this gorgeous boy to come to Australia.
Arthur has the most gorgeous temperament and is the most delightful dog to be around.
Arthur’s pedigree is quite different to what we are currently seeing being imported in to Australia.
His mother is the very beautiful French bred bitch “Am. Ch. Artemis des Gladiateurs du Guesny”.
Her pedigree is full of dogs from kennels like des Chartrons, el Siscar, du Clos de Vanmik
and du Domaine de Rauchbruy. Artemis is actually line-bred to the Nirvana/Nidem II and the
Lucciano/Lanka litters.
Arthur’s sire is multi US Champion and DDBSA Grand Champion, “Powerhouse Gothic Guardiens Bacchus”.
His mother’s pedigree is also full of elite European lines. Bacchus’ sire is International and 2 x World
Champion, 4 x America’s No. 1 DDB and AKC Champion, “Powerhouse Gothic Guardiens Braxx”.
Arthur’s great grandsire, Matsuzak, had his own chapter in the 2004 – 2006 World of the DDB and is one of
the most awarded DDB in US history.
The success of this US line is continuing with the inaugural Westminster winner, “Ch. Gargoyles Brando T Beefcake”,
being out of Bacchus’ litter sister, Buffy.
Arthur was shown 3 times in the US and he achieved one US major from the Minor Puppy Class.
We hope that Arthur’s own attributes of head, chin, strength of muzzle, topline, fabulous rear angulation and gorgeous temperament,
(and those of the dogs in his pedigree), will enable us to continue to improve on aspects of breed type which we have been
concentrating on in our limited breeding program.
